Turn information chaos into consistent clarity

Futurepedia Website

Ever spent way too long trying to make sense of a messy report, only to give up halfway through?

We’ve all been there—staring at a wall of text, trying to extract the key points, wondering why it feels like deciphering an ancient scroll.

With just a couple of steps, NotebookLM takes scattered, lengthy information and distills it into clear, concise messaging that actually makes sense.

Whether you need a briefing doc, marketing pitch, or training guide, this tool keeps everything aligned with your key objectives—without the headache.

Here’s how to do it. 👇

💡 Step-by-Step Guide

Unify Your Messaging Across All Platforms

Ensure messaging consistency and clarity across platforms by having NotebookLM:

  1. Distill lengthy reports, articles, & more into a structured briefing doc

  2. Customize or repurpose that doc for different audiences & content types

Why the two-step process?

Turning complex, lengthy, and/or scattered information into one central document that concisely captures key points and messages ensures that additional content you create aligns with your main objectives.

Example Use Cases

  • Use briefing docs to create concise, informative emails or internal memos

  • Turn complex documents into structured training materials that enhance engagement & retention

  • Craft persuasive marketing materials, presentations, & pitches by rephrasing key briefing doc points in a compelling tone

  • Quickly summarize research articles for easier understanding & sharing

Create The Briefing Document

Step 1: Log in to NotebookLM & select ‘+ Create new’

Step 2: Click ‘+ Add source’ (left sidebar) to upload up PDFs/documents, share links to online articles or YouTube videos, or paste text directly (you can include up to 50 sources at once!)

Customize or Repurpose Briefing Doc

In the ‘Chat’ section, you can ask NotebookLM to:

1) Customize The Briefing Doc To Fit Your Audience

Refine the briefing to meet various needs by asking it to:

  • Summarize key takeaways (e.g., “Extract the 3 most important points” or “Summarize the briefing in [under 100 words/3 bullet points]”)

  • Re-write it in a different tone (e.g., conversational for employee materials or persuasive for marketing materials)

  • Add definitions & real-world examples

  • Expand on specific points

2) Repurpose The Briefing Doc Into Various Content

Ask NotebookLM to transform the briefing doc into a variety of formats:
