Email: Tell it what the email is about, and it will draft it for you
Meetings: Let it draft your meeting agendas & talking points + get suggestions for conducting productive meetings

💡 Quick Tutorial
Selectively Alter Parts of Midjourney Images
Midjourney’s powerful inpainting tool unleashes your creative expression by making targeted modifications to images, such as:
Removing unwanted objects/elements from an image
Modifying existing elements (e.g., change a character’s outfit or alter a facial expression)
Introducing new elements (e.g., add a hat on someone or insert another character)
Reconstructing damaged or incomplete areas
Iterating with different image variations
Changing the image’s overall composition & aesthetics
Step-by-Step Instructions
Let’s say you want to recreate a famous artwork — but with your own custom feel. To do so, you would:
Step 1: Enable Remix Mode
NOTE: With Remix Mode turned off, Midjourney will determine the best way to edit any section of your image that you select for editing. Turning it on makes a significant difference by unlocking more editing capabilities.
To enable Remix Mode, use the /settings command to bring up the settings menu, and toggle on the Remix Mode button.
Step 2: Create Your Starter Image
Create and input a text prompt that describes the setting, subject, composition, color, lighting, specific elements, and overall feel of the image. Be as detailed as possible. Also be sure not to mention the actual painting so that Midjourney generates a new take on it.
PROMPTING TIPS
If you have a specific piece of art in mind, input it into the Art Style Explorer GPT, which will analyze it and generate a prompt for you to use.
If you want to create your own image, use the Midjourney — MJ Prompt Generator GPT for assistance in writing a detailed prompt.
Step 3: Upscale Your Image of Choice
NOTE: You have to upscale the image in order to access the inpainting feature. Plus, upscaling also provides higher resolution and more detail to work with, allowing for more precise edits.
It will generate 4 image options for you to select from. To upscale one, simply click one of the ‘U’ buttons (clicking on U1 will upscale the first image, U2 the second image, and so on).
Step 4: Make Inpainting Edits
1. Hit “Vary (Region)” below your upscaled image.
2. In the bottom left, click on either the rectangle selection tool or the freehand/lasso selection tool (which allows for more precision and/or irregular shapes). Then click and drag your mouse around the area you want to modify.
3. Create and type in a prompt for what you want modified, added, removed, etc.. Then select the generated image of your choice, and watch Midjourney work its magic.
